 WKCE Prep There are a few things that seventh grade math students can be practicing throughout the year to help them prepare for their state standardized test, the WKCE. Some of these things are:
- Practice measuring with a ruler - using inches and centimeters
- Practice basic math facts - adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing one, two and three digit numbers
- Practice math facts with decimals
- Practice math facts with fractions
- Practice measuring and drawing angles using a protractor
- Practice explaining HOW you got an answer. You may need to write explanations for some questions.
 Be Prepared for Class There are a few things that you are going to need for math class this year that you should have with you. These items include:
- Binder (1 1/2 inch or larger)
- Pencils
- Pens (blue/black and red)
- Scientific Calculator
- Loose-leaf paper (3 hole punched)
- Protractor
- Ruler
- Book Cover
